Smoke question?
I have a 80 SA22C i have removed emissions, air pump, blocked off ACV, and a RB header, and full exhaust, no cat. She runs real strong except i have been noticing that when i let off the gas to shift shes been puffing a little blue smoke each time, i baby her alot and i noticed when i do get on it i cannot see any blue smoke in between shifts, my OMP seems to be working fine, what do you think?

im not to sure on that one but i believe blue smoke = burning oil, my 91 TII did that on shifts while driving faily slow/normal, i replaced oil and filter, used a synt. oil and never did it agin. But im not to sure on a 12a carb.

Maybe you should run her harder and she wont get oil built up in the chamber. The death (carbon buildup) of rotaries is babying. You should be hitting 7k frequent, like once a day at least. They are meant to be ran, thats why the tach goes so high. Have fun, its just a car! Make sure your oil changing and fluid checking though.
