No, I am not handy with a welder, but I may check and see if I have any friends that are. I haven't been cited for my chevy with dual 8" glass packs yet and that sucker IS loud. I never mind it loud because I ususally have an even louder stereo system. They don't do inspections in Oklahoma so I'm not worried about a smog test. If they bring them back, I will cross that bridge when I have to worry about it.

I would also try and suggest trying to solve the issue causing the glow, not just cutting the glow out itself.

Point well taken. I have time to mess with it, and I don't want to go off half cocked and rip stuff apart. Like I said, sometimes it does it, and sometimes it doesn't. I'd like it to never happen at all before I tear apart the exhaust system.
