smog in ca

ok i need a final answer....has anyone from CA passes smog with a streetported 12a?

I assume you can get anything to pass, if you choke it down with enough emissions ****, then I wonder why do a streetport to start with?

ive never played with a ported 12a, but we have played with everything else. a ported fd needs both cats to pass, and a ported t2 will not, they have a hard time passing stock. i would imagine with ALL of the stock smog stuff functioning properly, it will only be a little off at idle, and pass the high rpms. what the hardcore guys used to do is have a stock motor and a ported one, and swap them out every 2 years

yeah thats what i would do if i had two motors but that will have to wait. i do have ALL the emissions stuff on there now but i plan to take it off as soon as it passes.
