Small miss at idle?

I swapped engines and I have a slight miss at idle. Carb rebuilt and ran perfect on the other engine. I was wondering if it may be an ignitor? I haven't pulled the plugs yet, but what is the best way to check the ignitors? Just pull the wire off of the cap and see if there is a spark? It doesn't seem to have quite the power it should have, but does fire right up when I start it.

You're on the right track with the ignition system. There's a proceedure in the manual for testing ignitors. Check that out. Also, if I recall correctly jeff20b describes a method for testing ignitors on his web site. http://www.geocities.com/cd23c/

Good luck!

I pulled the plugs and one of the leading plugs was not firing. I swapped out ignitors and walla! Runs great now. Thanks.
