slotting strut tower

I have talked to a couple diffrent people racing ITA and they have told me about slotting their strut tower to gain - camber. Has anybody dones this and does anybody have photos of what they did?

I'm not about to spend $350 U.S. on camber caster plates when I can get similar results for free. I understand there is more load and stress on my shocks shaft without a bearing (like ground controls) but how much load is the question, Is this gonna **** up my shocks?

You wont get a whole lot by just slotting. You'll have to enlarge the center hole too. I dont see how you'll put the load on the shocks? The balljoint will pivot to the new angle IMHO.

I did this back in the early 90s when I was autocrossing. You can gain quite a bit of neg. camber. I think it ended up being illegal for my class though?? I had to also slot the larger hole. I simply took a die grinder and slotted all of the holes inward about 3/4"
