should I repaint or somehow clean the car up.
I am trying to decide if I should get the car repainted or if I should just repaint certain parts and do a lot of buffing.
THere is no rust on the car except for on the corners of the doors where it is pretty bad. I removed the bumper strips and got the tape off without damaging the paint. Part of the front (right in front of the hood) needs to be repainted from all the rock chips and the whole air damnand both bumpers and needs to be painted.
If I get a respray it is going to be a relativly cheap one. Like less than a $1000.
what do you think

It all depends on your budget and how nice you want your car to be. If the bodyshop can color match your newly painted panels to perfection to the somewhat faded finish I would personally do it and it would look ok...but, but! you have to remember that the faded part will fade much faster than the newly painted pieces and you will have different shades like in about a year.
If I were you I would save on the labor...and paint the whole car. Looks a lot better and will last a lot longer if it's good quality paint.
