Should I put some MMO in the Mound, while the engine is sitting?

Been doing some work on the intake and various things, so the Mound hasn't been run in almost three weeks....to avoid any kind of seizing (especially since the intake is off) should I pour some MMO in there and rotate the engine a few turns to keep things lubed up?

I should probably do ATF, but I want to wait until it's running first....

Right on.

I think that would be a wise precaution, even if there was MMO in the gas tank. Your car has been sitting for 3 weeks so far.. and that's a long time.

My RX-7 has 145,000 miles and sometimes it sits for a week. I used to worry about it, but then I started using MMO.. thanks to all those posts about it.

Yes, you need some lube with better tenacity than motor oil. I let my 83 sit for 3 years once, all misted up, but the transmission didn't get enough and some condensate got on the bearings. Oh, well, I still got 2 years out of the howling transmission.

That's what I am worried about...condensate...the car is currently sitting outside, and it's been really humid lately....I've got rags stuffed in all the exposed holes and I'll soon be pulling the car into the garage...I'll add some MMO in there tomorrow...BTW, which way to a spin the engine?? I assume, standing in front of the car facing the engine bay, that it spins clockwise...is that right?

Right on.

Just do it, it can (almost?) never hurt, and the smoke is fun to make

Also, you might want to put something in the transmission to prevent things from corroding. I'm not sure what specific product you would use, but I'm sure you can find something at an auto parts store.
