Should I buy the white 85GSL?

I located a nice white 85GSL, 180k, but original owner and always maintained, not abused. $1500 asking, I suppose I can get it for $1200. Money isn't the real issue, just car count.

If I get this I'll have red, white and blue FBs in my stable (in addition to the primo silver 85GSL). This has a real big appeal to me for some reason.

Am I a victim of some sort of madness, or does it just make sense to have enough FBs I don't have to drive something else? Maybe it's The Male Menopause (I'm 66), or some sort of dementia.

I'm jealous. These cars are like chips- ya can't stop with just one; or in your case- four.
Go for it!

Always a fun combination...do it! At least it'll be in the care of someone that won't let it waste away...

I was thinking of a picture like that! I imagine coming out in the morning to an array of red white and blue FBs and deciding which to drive. Whether they're lined up at the curb in fronnt of my townhouse or in the driveway of the hill house.

Is that a 67 convertable firebird? The RX-7 rocks but don't let that puppy get neglected either!

66 and going strong! Never felt better. Part of it is I got a triple bypass last year, and part is I got rid of the 90 Sable with bad transmission, so I'm entirely FB borne. I'm going to enjoy these babes as long as I can!

The seller is holding hard at $1500, even tho I told him I got the silver 85GSL for $1700 last year with only 49k, and it's a noticeably better car. But he's tough. I'm going to check with Mazda Masters where hes taken it for several years, today. Carfax looks good (thanks guys!).

I think I'll pass on this one. too many miles. I don't need another problem car.

What I REALLY need is a white FC vert. Anyone got a decent one in CA?
