Short Shifter

I need everybody's opinions on this. Since it's so cheap I just may bid on it, but I want some second opinions. What do you think?

That's not a real short-shifter as such. A proper short-shifter has the part underneath the pivot extended to shorten the throw and comes with a spacer. The one you're looking at is just a hacked down stock shifter. It will provide a slightly shorter throw but will also be a lot harder to shift and feel notchy.

Thanks. That's pretty much what I was thinkin. I think I'll just learn how to weld then cut down the stock a little bit. Not that much though. Rx7 shift is all ready pretty short compared to my old '90 Escort.
