There are no shocks in your front suspension. Just MacPherson strut style dampers. Flame on!

Now go search the forum.

Get tokico blues or illuminas from ebay.ca
then Racing beat springs (or some other brand)
as for bushings, plan on spending big bucks to get them done right...

You are going to need an alignment done afterwards, so that should be done by a shop with the proper equiptment. Also a spring compressor should be used to remove the spring from the strut. Don't use a cheap one, because (no joke) these things can kill you...

I didnt price having my bushings all replaced but I spent about 150$ for the whole front and rear ends worth (energy suspension poly bushings). I still have a few more bushings to replace because getting the old ones out is a PITA! I tried drilling, sawing, dremel-ing and finally what worked - burning them out! It looked like a tire fire but hey it got the damn things out! Oh yea you'll probably want to replace your tie rod ends too. Another frustrating job....

A good source aside from eBay is Shox.com. I am working on having Delrin bushings made, this is more dense than polyurethene. Be much better for handling and harsher for ride quality.

Maybe i should have put it like this. I don't know what the hell i'm ordering if i go and buy the parts for the car online. I don't know what is right or wrong. So far i see that the rear is twice a much as the front for shocks.... but at they shocks or struts... and what the hell is a core or sleave or what have you that they are selling. I'm not a car person... well not yet any ways... guess i will get the guys at work to go over it with me... i just realy need help don't know the difference between a control arm and an idler arm.

I expected flames. no worries about that. and i'm not trying to put 2k in the suspention right now... mabe later on.. i just want the front in to stiffen up and not clank or knock when i hit a bump.

Front end bushings = 160 bucks from http://p-s-t.com/fekpgimp.html
In addition to what the kit includes, you'll might also need (depending on the condition of what you have now);

Idler arm bushings (or complete replacement)
Pitman arm
Inner tie rod ends
Transmission mount
Engine mounts

Best place (in my opinion) to get those parts is www.rockauto.com

You have struts on the front of the car, so you may replace them entirely with new units or you can just replace the inserts. Either way will get you the same results.
