Shifter problems

Put 200 miles on the se saturday.......and my shifter does not spring back to the middle.........


to the the right yes to the left no

is there a bushing that is out?

No, there are 2 springs, one is inside the tailshaft, and the other can be seen as that wire going over the shifter hole. You probably have that wire on the wrong side of the shifter.

coldy is right. Spring broke. Comon problem. cost of spring is cheap but the trans has to be removed to fix. It's a easy fix though.
