I bought one off eBay awhile back. I haven't put it on yet, but it looks like it will work okay. It's a man-made leather material. I think there was also someone selling real leather ones as well.

Shifter Boot & Surround

I bought a new shifter surround and boot from www.mazsport.net about a year ago for my 85 GS. I bought a new surround as well as the boot because the pins that hold the boot in place were broken on the surround. I hope that this helps.

RedlineGoods.com is great. They are a little expensive but it's genuine Italian leather. I've got a set and am VERY happy with it. Well worth the money

I pulled cheapy and bought one from crappy tire, it donesn't even fill the void around the plastic surrond, bit it looks better than the old one that turned green from decay.

Redline makes Great Products for us 1st Gen Owners!
My clips where in bad shape so I went with Screwing in the Boot to the Plate.
You can use those extra clips that come with all Speakers can't remember what there called but all auto shops will carry them.
$20.00US shipping included from Redline and a Nice Boot to Boot.
