She's in the barn...

Well, the old girl's in the barn...

Because it's winter? No... For the season? No... Because it's time for me to put my toys away and go make a living for a while! So, the little Red Rocket's in the barn and the "large car" (430HP with a turbo the size of your 12a) is prepped, primed, and ready to roar...

I run all 48 States and, as far as I know, I'm the only "Cuckoo's Nest" with a dragon running around. So, if you see us - wave! And please, use all your fingers when you wave!

Since I know you'll miss my words of wit, I'll poke my nose in from time to time while on the road - just to keep you guys in line!

In the meantime, all you animals beware - the ZooKeeper's comin'...

When you pop in, let us know what state you're in. What do you carry that requires you to go to all 48?

Thanks. It's a Freightliner I bought new in '93 for $82k USD. It has 625k on it and running strong. Here's some trivia: It holds 200 gal of fuel and gets 6.0 mpg. Tires cost me $325 ea and there are 10 of them on the tractor My Sleeper has bunk beds, a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, and a 13" TV with satellite DirecTV. I have a 6-speaker sound system with XM satellite radio.

I never know which way I'm heading until I'm headed that way! I get to Tacoma several times a year and darn near lived there last summer. I'll watch out for "little white RX-7's" next time in the area

Yes, I'll do that. I generally haul new office furniture and fixtures from factory to customer construction sites. Since I own my own rig and am self-employed, I'm paid $1/mile empty or loaded and run 3000~3500 miles/week (any math majors out there?) My longest single load run was from Seattle, WA to Key West Florida, 3500 miles one-way
My hobby is digital photography, you can visit my website It Ain't Fancy, But... if you want to see some travel pics taken thru my windshield. I send out a photo email describing our adventures on the road. Use the email link on my site if you'd like to be included.
