Oh, bummer. Looks like I wont be attending
I was super stoked for it, but unless someone wants to buy my P/U truck off me, there's no way I can afford it.
You alls have to take a bunch of extra pics for me!
Moving out of state SUCKS for fundage

Carl I will driving down in the 1st Rx-7 I bought back in 1985 that has 200k miles, definely not a show car but fun none the less.
Still working on 'the list' since I really haven't driven it much in the past 4 years, and last year it sat because of a failed smog check. But with all that behind me now its getting done a little each night.
Still to do:
Axle bearing - at shop getting pressed off.
AC- compressor leaking out R134. hmmm
Rear spoiler- to be mounted to car.
Seat - swap in some better seats.
Sell a glass sunroof to get some gas money. PM if intrested....You bring the cash and I will bring it down with me.

Why do you hang out with a lot of the list members at the banquet?
This year should be MUCH better than last year. We have a couple of good video presentations and some very special guest scheduled. Hangout with the list folks on Sunday at the SS 2nd day event!

I'll consider it. Teh video presentation last year gave me goosebumps.
But the bitching by the you know who people brought me down big time. I felt embarrased to be a rotorhead and wanted to apologize to all the Mazda people who came over from Japan, for our brothers' childish behavior. It was a big let down after a spectacular day. I hope they didnt feel offended by all that nonsense.

Funny thing is that the gentlemen who was the most boisterous last year, asked me recently if he was now banned from SevenStock.... I told him "NO... but you are from the banquet!!!" He was one of the first to apologize though!!!

I said ok. So we got Geoff, John, Dennis, Mark and the wife and me at our table.
Although greasy tacos and beer doesnt sound bad either.
The little Mexican resturant down the street from the hotel was pretty good. We plan to eat there during our visit.
