Serpentine...

Does anyone make a serpentine belt system for the rotary? Or can you convert a later model to an earlier type? Say an FD belt setup to an FB?

These V-belts suck ***.

You really only need two belts, both running to the same devices.

Assuming you have removed the air pump and you dont have A/C, all you need is a double pulley for the alternator and two belts running from the crank, across the waterpump pulley, and 'round the double alternator pulley.

I've done that, but I still don't like the setup. 1 belt would be so much easier, and they stretch a whole lot less than a skinny little v-belt.

www.atkinsrotary.com sells a nice kit. Pricey, but it is quality.

For conventional use, a stock settup or even a duel alternator pulley will work fine. Under 200hp, a duel alternator should work fine. If you start putting serious power down, or just like the simplicity of the setup a serpentine belt is ideal.

Good luck.
