Sensors in radiator?

Replacing the radiator in the track car and wondering what the 2 sensors in it are for. Have a single wire sensor in the top (guessing coolant level) and a 2 wire (I think) sensor in the bottom by the ATF cooler (which since mines a manual I dont use).

Manlly curious because the sensor at top broke the wire off at the sensor before I realized it was twisting off instead of rotating the wire. Also have a probbly wrong idea that less sensors in radiator=better flow

The top single wire sensor is for the low coolant dash light, if you get rid of it ground the wire from the harness to avoid the dash light and buzzer.

IIRC the lower is part of the emissions system. The only one you need is on the rear iron below the oil filter pedestal, that one feeds the temp gauge.
