I need a sending unit for an 83 gsl stock. Anyone know where i can get one cause none of the auto part stores around here have them, and my gas gauge doesn't work.

on the other hand my ignition is completely f#cked and i need to replace the entire thing, it locked up and i broke it all out with a knife and screw driver so now if it ever ran good enough to get out of my driveway anyone could start it with a screwdriver. so.......if anyone knows where i could get one of those that would be alot of help.

 

there's an option, have you tried ebay also? i got lucky once and scored one in great condition for my 85 along with the door/hatch locks with keys and everything, it was all for like 50 bucks, all the auto parts would charge me 100 for just the cylinder rebuild kit

 

Which sending unit? There are many.

 

the sending that goes into my tank, has the float connected to it.

 

IIRC those are NLA new from mazda.

Mazdatrix 60-960A-FA01 ~80 bucks
So mazda would be something like FA01-960A-60

 

Fuel sender # is FA01-60-960A and is available through mazdaautoparts.com for $60
