Securtiy Light in an FB?

did Fb ever have these security lights? i was under the understanding that they were 2nd gen lights...

Me neither and I used to have an '85 GS. ( '81 now ) Never seen that piece in an FB.

I think it is from a 2nd gen but I also believe it will fit in a 1st gen. It is just a 2 wire hookup so you COULD use it as an alarm led if you had an aftermarket alarm.

Yep, it's for a 2nd gen, and there are 30-40+ pages in the FSM to trouble shoot the damn things. All that is is the arming light.

They fit in front of the shifter on 2nd gens and they're not very bright. They need a bulb upgrade.
