One of my GSL-SEs has the original seats, and I noticed today that the driver seat has an extra lever near the front that adjusts the angle of the bottom of the seat. (the other car was swapped from leather to cloth by the PO)...

Is this adjustment specific to GSL-SE seats? Or what year/models had this feature?

My 84 GSL seat has that.
The 626 seats in my Samurai have that two.
Front AND rear pitch, plus lumbar,side bolster and fine adjust on the back angle too.Pretty damn swanky for a 20 year old import....look good too.

 

Dunno, but my buddie's 79 GS has this, while my 83 GS does not. Of course, the GS was the high end for 79, and mid range for 83. His also has lumbar support on both, while mine only has it on the driver seat. Good thing I only sit on the driver seat.......
I wish mine had the front adjustment, while he wishes his had the keyhole light in the column, and power mirrors.........

 

i think its just 84-85 cars and maybe the 79 model ^hes^ talking about.
my 2 83gsl's didnt have it but my 85 gsl and both 85 gsl-se's have it.
