Which seats for my SA

I'm trying to decide on what seats to get for my SA. I have a set of TII and a set of 2nd gen GXL seats. I also can get a set of FD seats for a nice price.. What seats will look and feel the best?

NOt to high jack but is anyone using the maszdaspeed seats off ebay. I think those would look sick in a first gen. They even come with sliders.

Thanks, Ed

I have TII(well convertable seats but they are the same) in my SA and I have liked them quite a bit so far. They are an easy swap, they are comfortable, and they hold pretty well. I even did a 12 hour drive in them and felt pretty good until the end. I put my vote on the TII.

well, i want REAL mazdaspeed seats, but i cant bring myself to cough up the $800 a seat at this time. i missed out on a deal for a set for $500 a while back and i regret it immensely. i too have been trying to decide what seats to run in my SA. i know the T2 seats are an easier swap, but i think the FD seats would be more suited to run harnesses, as i plan to. what i think ive come down to running until i can afford MS seats is a modified FD seat. i want to take the seat and add some form of wear protection inside the hole beind your head. like the stuff sparco uses on the high wear places on their seats. that way my harnesses wont rub spots into the seats.

That FBnewbie place that advertises in the top banner has some nice FD OEM seats for sale. I think their Recaro's, might be a better price alternative to the Mazdaspeeds.

RX8 seats fit (with rail mods) - super comfy, can't beat the Rotary-shaped headrest holes!

Mine are out of a 5.0 Mustang. Really nice, but got them with the car. I am looking to put a set of buckets in. Where can I get the best price on a set of rx-8 seats?

I just threw in a spare set of seats from my 10th Anny into my Fb yesterday, all that was needed to fit the driver seat was swap the rails. I think the FD seats might be the same way.

The FD seats mounting is totally different and not the same width of mounting holes

my old fd seats painted black. I gave them to a friend for his RX2.

Got both FD seats installed. I think I'm gonna sell them. I'm 6' 2" and they sit a little higher.. My head is real close to the roof.. All brackets are done.. Will post in the for sale section
