Seats. FC to FB or other cheap alternative.

I was doing some work under the dash and decided to do some measurements for anyone who was intrested.
I have a '85 GSL-SE with the stock seats and a sunroof. I also have a set of FC seats (model unknown). I've been told that the drivers seat is about one inch higher than a normal first gen seat because of the tilt adjuster in the seat (the bottom of the seat tilts, along with the back moving and the seat sliding front-back)
I measured the lowest and highest points of the seats to the roof (not sunroof). On the passengers side, both the FB and FC seats measured 34.5" and 29.5" to the roof. On the drivers side, the FB seat was 34.5" and 29.5" while the FC seat was 36" and 30.5" (I would say the measurements are accurate to a half inch). While sitting in the FC seat, I think I have an extra 3" of head room (measured with my hand). I think the FC seats have a bit more padding without the tilt mechanism, so I sink down a bit more.
Hope this helps.
