Can the passenger side and drivers side seats be swapped by simply changing the hardware over? I ask because I dont want to tear everything apart only to find out that it cant be done.

 

No, they cant the base of the seat frame is specific to the side of the vehicle. To remove the frame of the seat you would have to disconnect all of the hog rings securing the upolstry to the frame. Then i guess you could, but you would have to do it to each seat. Then reconnect them. A lot of work.
