('83 Limited Edition, 12A) My driver seat is in pretty bad shape. I've read several posts were people talked about putting RX8 seats in an FB. I'm looking at some Madza Speed seats on eBay that are supposed to fit an RX8 (and several other cars) and wondering if anyone has bought a replacement seat like this? Problems putting it in? A lot of fabrication on seat rails?

Seriously, I've seen some really nice recovered seats from the local trim shops that are very reasonable overall. Just get yours recovered.

 

^Yeah, but some people use tore up seats as an excuse to finally drop cash on some nice seats with decent bolsters.

 

I'm very pleased with my F1Spec fiberglass seat. It didn't come with sidemounts or rails as promised, so I'm still waiting on those, but when I finally get it in expect a full review.

They used to sell on ebay. Now they're just going full on out going forum to forum selling well known replicas.

I really really like the seat, but I'll just say I'm waiting for a response from them about my sidemount.
