se fuel cut?
se fuel cut?
I did a search and didnt find quite what I was looking for. Does an 84 se have a fuel cut? Ive heard its at like 8000 but ive spun it higher than that doin a burnout, so is there one and its not working or isnt there one?
As far as I know, there isn't one. The only 'fuel-cut' controller is in the AFM so that the fuel pump isn't running unless you're cranking it, or it's the engine is running.
I've never had RPM limited due to fuel cut. HTH,

No the SE does not have a fuel cut. Which I never understood why Mazda would want the fuel to be cut in ANY case causing a lean mixture. If any rev limitation is used it should be done via ignition. I guess Mazda wanted all those TII guys to buy their remans.............that will teach them to mod their car
