SE Brakes

Hey, I just finished a t2 motor swap into my gsl-se. Ready to drive except I have no brakes. The brakes were perfectly fine when I started the project. Now there is absolutely nothing there when you push the pedal. About two months ago I realized the fluid was lower than low. So I topped it off, then bleed the brakes. Still almost no resistance at the pedal. then it sat there with the fluid topped off until last week when it disappeared overnight one night (I never touched the brake pedal) and was then lower than low again(There are no visible leaks/puddles anywhere I can find). I topped it off and am yet to bleed the brakes again. Is there anyway a master cylinder can go bad even though it hasn't been used in several years?

I have heard that if your brake booster goes bad it can actually cause the fluid to go into it. Also, check the inside of your car around the brake lever and see if the fluid is going into the carpet inside your SE.

If you have pulled all of the wheels and have not seen any fluid leaks then the master cylinder is leaking. You will not see any fluid inside the car. Unbolt the master from the booster, more than likely you will see fluid where the master joins the booster.
