Today, working on this -SE, I removed the dynamic {? chamber (where it says ' RE EGI' ) all the vacume lines
the intake, everything to be able to get to the fuel rail and injectors. Pulled those and cleaned them,then reinstalled, no errors, o-rings, grommets,connectors all went back OK. Everything went back OK ,really. Try to start the engine,crank it. no go. But now when i stop cranking it, right after i hear this ' clicking noise' then it stops. what is that trying to work. do you know ?
I understand that i'm going to have to learn how the FI works. but **** ,,there are so many points with this system that could fail. It's got fuel,spark,the AFM door moves freely. what about the fuel cut-off rod. I didn't go that far into the engine yet,,, I don't know, i feel stupid.
help !!

 

Solenoids mounted on the firewall have vacuum hoses that run to the DEI... they make clicking noises when malfunctioning...

 

Oh,,sure manntis, thanks, I didn't put it back together right,,huh, Lol !! and whats the DEI ?? I should know this stuff, but i'm getting there,,,,slowly.

 

that is the box itself that says RE-EGI i think. just the box tho between the TB and the runners.
