Unhappy Screwed up my gauges

My gauge cluster lights stopped working and while serching for the cause (which I now know was the dimmer switch) I took the entire dash/gauge cluster out. When I took it out everything worked fine but when I hooked it back up, nothing worked except for the the battery voltage meter.

There is no possible way I plugged something in the wrong way because everything only fits one way. I was wondering if I missed some stupid little thing thats keeping my 7 (1984 GSL) off the road.

I have a simialar problem. I removed my gauges and when I put them back in, I lost my parking lights. Its a bad deal when you dont realize that they are out and you are on the interstae at night. I just thought the dash lights were out.... I am not really sure of your problem. I hope you can get it fixed. If you happen to need another gauge cluster, PM me and I will sell you my extra one for cheap.

Also, the speedo does not work? I would think of all of them that the speedo should work.

I have not hooked the speedo cable back up yet because it restricts the movement of the dash, but it worked before i took everything apart.

Lights

Recheck you r work, you have left something unplugged or plugged in wrong. Have removed dozens of clusters and never had a problem. Always back track work.
