Safety Harness

Is there any writeups on harness installs or pictures? I'm considering putting a set in, just I'm wondering where to place the bolts etc, I used search and could not find. Thanks.

I wouldn't install harnesses without having a roll cage, and if you have a roll cage then you attach them to the bar behind the seats, just do not place them below shoulder height as you run the risk of breaking your back in a wreck, or so I've read.

Peruse the race tech section, there are a few threads in there. Ditto on having a roll bar at a minimum, just in case the car should end upside down and the roof were to cave in. There are specs and diagrams on the correct installation of the harnesses and supporting mounting bars. Iirc, the top of the harness bar is supposed ot be 10-15* below the driver's shoulder line. Since this is such a critiacal safety item, do not take anyone's word for it. Do your own research.
