Sad day for fellow RX-7 owner...
I was leaving the library parking lot today when I saw an SA. I was like HOLY **** ANOTHER 7 and it is actually in nice condition! I turned around and drove after it, by the time I found the car in the parking lot the guy had already left. Getting ready to leave a note for this gentleman I sneaked a peek into his car. This is when my spirits dropped.
Contents of SA:
Flannel Shirt
Gas Can
NOS-> Seat covers
My head kind of slumped and I just walked back to my car, crumpled up the note, and threw it out. The thing obviously had no mods whatsoever, and judging by the other weeks worth of clothing piled in a heap, and also assorted garbage, this guy probably wouldn't have cared if it had a jet engine in it. Oh well, not everyone can be an enthusiast I guess. I don't have a camera so I can't show any pictures, but they would just be sad to see anyway.

There are plenty of Redneck seven owners in Tennessee.....
These are the guys giving rotaries a bad name. Something tears up, they figure it's valves or something, open the hood for the very first time, scratch their heads trying to figure out what the heck they're looking at in there, shut the hood, cus the car, and sell it for 50 bucks. That's where I like to come into the picture! Assuming the car is not TOTALLY trashed that is.

Hey, just because his car was full of crap dosent mean he isnt an enthusiast, my car is packed full of crap , im just too lazy to clean it out.
Even if he wasnt an enthusiast you should have left him the note anyways. Maybe he would come here, (im assuming you told him to come here in the note?) read about how cool and unique his car is, and then decide to restore it or something.
Ok, maybe I just have too much faith in people, but I would have left the note no matter what. If for nothing else but to possibly save the car from his stupidity.
Now, go find that redneck and send him here!

yeah. who cares. give him a note or something. maybe it would give him the inspiration to bring the car to life and learn more. i pass out little rx7club cards al the time. talk to all i can. half of them don't ever check the site out, but the other half do. we have a monthly meeting in olympia. and every month we have new people show up cause of the cards. hell last month we had 5. you never know. pass the word.

My 7 had gas cans, rags, misc. tools, loose golf clubs, mugs, books, backpack, campus parking tickets () gas reciepts, straw wrappers, etc. for quite a long time does that make me a non-enthusiast?
Only reason it's clean is I cleaned it for my first rx7 club drive in I attended, and it broke down that day and has sat since, lol

Yesterday I had my bow, hunting boots and my climbing stand in the back of the 7. Before I left the office I changed out of my business suit into my hunting clothes, left and picked up some coffee then off to the woods.
(I also have the obligatory rags, MMO, and tool pouch in the 7 as well).
If you saw my 7, you would think total redneck too. (Hell- maybe I am one.)
