I was down there on christmas break. I kept an eye out for RX-7's. Seems to me i saw a few crappy ones, and one really nice red one. was that yours???

i just took the factory headlight cover and cut a hole to the shape of the opening that i wanted. i then tack welded it to the steel nose section and then fabricated a a bucket are where the lights sit. tell you the truth i kinda regret doing it.

boy he sure went out of his way to make that anything but an SA22C. forget the front bumper and the dash, but if it is an SA22, he sure went through a lot of trouble to get the late model tranny to fit good.

notice its also an s3 interior.

You see in Japan they never called them FB's, they were sa22c up until 86. so thats prolly what he's talking about.

and thats one KILLER first gen!!
