CA SA22C 3D Printed parts

Hi everyone,
I have been restoring a 1980 SA22C and have run into a problem with a lack of interior parts. So, I purchased a 3D printer and set to work on recreating some of the smaller harder to find parts. I do plan on possibly opening a shop to sell some of the things that are more commonly needed or harder to design/produce. For the simpler things I don't mind sharing with the community. I will update this thread when I have more parts to share.

I am not a mechanic by trade nor am I a car expert so some of my filenames may be a little off. If you have a better suggestion, I will definitely rename the files to something more appropriate. I would also welcome the correct part numbers so I can tag the models with them and make them easier to find for those who may need them.

The first model I am sharing is for the plate that goes above the radio bezel. Mine was original but it was completely cooked. I have no idea if this part was ever even sold on its own and I am unsure on which years it will exactly fit.

I forgot to add this model as well. It is the plastic switch for the interior light on the rear-view mirror. Please read the description of the model on pintables if you decide to print it.

Here is a copy (link) to the 1979-1980 parts fiche. It will give all the part names and numbers.

If some one could print a rear view mirror I would be delighted. Every single original is starting to crumble. Even if they look good , one hard squeeze and it's shatter town .

Its a pretty simple shape I can see what I can do. Mine is also ready to crumble too I managed to epoxy the cracks gently clean it and spray it black but it’s on borrowed time. Do you happen to have a picture of what it looks like inside? If I open mine it’s done for.

I have a "new one " I took from a junkyard car , It's got surface dry rot but the plastic seems to have structural integrity. The mirror itself isn't that unique looking , the only part that's unique is the box and stem that plugs into the mirror , but I'm too scared to try and pop the ball joint out , the one on my car would shatter and the "new" one may survive it but again , will probably shatter.

If I get some time this week I’ll measure out the dimensions and see if I can get at least the shell put together. I’ll try to find some pictures of the internals on Google. If I manage to get it together I’ll PM you and update this thread.
