Sa Lsd
I was under the impression that there is no LSD for the SA model. But I found something on a Japanese webshop:
RX-7(SA22C) Racing
0820 79 960B L.S.D. 2WAY (Body Number~300000) 80,000
0820 79 960C L.S.D. 2WAY (Body Number300001~) 80,000
The long number in front is the productnumber. It's from MazdaSpeed. Does this LSD fit a SA rear axle?

all first gens in japan were refered to as SA22C's that is a mazdaspeed factory part number, im pretty sure the only way to get a LSD in an american SA is to put a gsl-se rearend in it

There are 2 different LSD types. One for pre 300000 and 1 for after this number. It's probably the VIN/chassiscode so is there 1 LSD for a FB and one for a USA SA?

All first gens from 79-83 had the "small" axle, those from 84-85 had the "large" axle. LSDs were available on GSL (81-85) and GSL-SE (84-85) models, so there are both "large" and "small" LSDs...the "small" LSDs will fit your SA. You can also, obviously, swap entire rear ends from any year into any car, so later (84-85) GSLs and all GSL-SEs are donor options too.

If they are... bad ***, and that would explain why i can't do nearly as good of burnouts in it as i can in the '83 GS.
