Can you use an 83 wiring harness with a 79?

 

no, most things are different between those years.

 

I'm going to say yes... but it just depends on how much stuff you want... they are for sure different, but you can run the harness.

Side note... I put a 79 harness up for cost of shipping not long ago... no one wanted it.

 

I am putting an '85 GSl-SE harness in my '78. :-) It is a PITA but it is working
