OK i looked for info on any doing a sa auto to fb 5 speed swap and coud find anything. My got more that i needed about a tII tranny swap. OK i have been looking at doing this swap 4 almost a year and still dont have all the answers i need to feel goood about doing the swap. I have an 80 SA auto I am going to be put an 82 FB 5 speed trany in . I already have the tranny it is good came out of a running car. I have the pedals out of an 83 that a good friend gave me. I have brand new clutch and master cyl. for an 82. Also just bought a new clutch kit. I under stand some cutting is going to need to happen to get the tranny to fit. Some of my questions are which drive shaft should i use well an 80 starter work or do i need to get 1 for an 82? I think my flywheel in my 80 will work fine but if any1 thinks different let me know and why it wont work. Has any really done this swap i hear alot of auto to 5 speed with the FB but not any i could find with an SA. Well thanks for the help,
