S5 transmission in 84gsl (crossmember )

so I’ve searched and didn’t seem to find anything on this. I’m installing a s5 turbo transmission in my fb and I’ve Ran into a bit of an issue. So I’ve mounted the s5 Y block onto the transmission and drilled out a hole on the fb crossmember for the Y to sit in. I’ve also placed a spacer between the Y block and the fb crossmember. Here’s my question. What did you guys do for a bushing on the long piece of the Y block that goes through the fb crossmember? A bushing usually goes there in the fc crossmembers. Do you guys use another bushing? Thanks for any input

Just solid mount it in the center. That's what I did on my s4 t2 trans in my 79. The crossmember has rubber bushings on the side for some cushioning. It's a lot stiffer than factory but I like it that way. It's a good combo with my hockey puck engine mounts.
