S5 project.
S5 project.
Ok, I decided to go ahead and continue with the S5 intake swap project on my SE. The parts should be in next week. Here's my questions:
1. What RPM switch do I need to get from Summit Racing for the VDI? The guy from Summit was clueless.
2. What are my options to activate the aux ports without an air pump?
3. Will one RMP switch operate both the VDI and the aux ports, or will I need two RPM switches?
Thanks,
Mike

1. For the switch point, check out the 2nd gen sections for recommendations
2. not sure if the S5 aux ports would like exhaust backpressure, but that is a possibility. Also search for "lumbar pump" in the 2nd gen section. This is a small electric pump that you can kick on to run the aux ports
3. One RPM switch will only work if you want them to switch at the same time. Usually, people use 2 RPM switchs and run the aux ports at say 3800RPM and the VDI at some higher RPM.
