make SURE you have 12v ign on the black/white wire, and you have (-) when the motor is runing on the white/black wire... Also things to check are the choke/check relay on the driver fender wall...

Theres a lot of info on it on here..

i checked, and is out putting 14.2 volts on my gauge when is running and it seems is working fine. i check all the fuses and the ones on the fender and they all look ok, everything on the car (radio, wipers, lights, gauges) is ok start right up with no problems, actually feels much better but the dummy lights doesnt come on when i turn the key on like it use to and i need atlease the one for the low rad water, btw wich one is the choke&check relay, i have a GSLSE and as far i know it doesnt come with choke.

its a metal rectangular box. it has 2 plugs one has a 4 pin and one is a 2 pin

Id imagine maybe the alt you got isnt toggling negative to the relay that makes those lights come on and then off.

See the way it works is, when you turn the key theres power to this relay which lights the lites up. When the alt starts charging, it turn the relay off.

Of course I could be wrong, never messed with an -SE, but I know Im right for other models. Id just say the hell with it, as long as its charging.

the lights will still work. low oil , low coolant etc. they just dont have the check to feature upon starting to let you know if the bulbs are good
