S4? S5?

I'm still new to this... What is someont talking about when they mention an s4 tranny or an s5 turbo or an s4 motor. Now I know they are talking about a brand but who are they and how can I find the stuff?

Next time try searching, but s4 is a 2nd gen '86-'88, and s5 is '89-'91. Hope that helps.
