RX8 clutch on SE

Whats the stock SE clutch diameter?

I've got an exedy clutch laying around that I'd like to throw on my SE since the original 134K mile clutch wont last my abuse... only thing is, the exedy clutch is a stage II for an Rx8, lol..

Uh I don't think it's the same part. You should just buy a proper OEM kit from like mazatrix etc.

Whats the spline of the SE?

Try going to exedy's website and see if they have any information that allows you to compare the 2.

You can also go to other websites like rockauto.com to see if there is a comparison.

Well I have a feeling it wont fit..

I tested it on my '84 transmission and the splines are different from the input shaft on the tranny and the clutch disc.

I'll continue to verify this though...

Exedy Part #10025 is for the GSL-SE.

RX8 Parts are #10952A and 10902A (turbo).

Yea - it would work for my '91 trans but not the '84... oh well.

I'll be able to use the pressure plate though, so I can just get a new disc and throwout bearing. I'll probably use a stock or sp disc. Nothing too harsh...
