16, bought my 1983 gx, 1982 gs, and 1974 rx3 when i was 15, the 1983 is almost completed, big streetport, carbons monster ignition system modified nikki, and other neat stuff. The 1982 now is a drag car with a 302 9 inch rear end, 4 link, roll cage. And the rx3 is getting a pp12a that is being built right now
Older Than You
I have not read this whole thread - life is too short and I am running out of time. But however old you are, I am older, and however many rotary Mazdas you have owned THAT RAN AND DROVE, I have probably had more.
I was recently telling someone that when I was 15, my relatives sold my grandmother's 37 Ford, in good condition, for $150. I am still pissed at them, and they have all been dead for 35 years!
Got my first driver's license on the island of Guam. They were flying B-50s off the air base that year. I was sitting with my dad having a beer with one bomber crew, and they all raised their glasses and said "Hit em in the head!" After about the 3rd time I asked the Colonel what that was all about, and he said "My crew is so damned good we don't even care if the bomb goes off because we are gonna Hit em in the head!"

First car was a Corvair in 1968.
First RX7 was 1984 G, still own it, 140k original miles.
Wife loves it so I bought another 1984 GSL-SE for her birthday last year.
Offered her an RX8 but she found the 84 GSL-SE and wanted it more.
My 15 yo son wants the old G but I told him he would have to learn to maintain it.
I guess I'm the only one around to teach him.
