Rx7 gsl se 2x2

Hey fellas i just bought a 1985 gsl se 2x2 (the 4 seaters) and it drives fine for the most part, but it has bogged out on me a few times. I asked the guy i bought it from n he said that when it does that i have to pull a hose off from the bottom of the passanger side of the engine then put it back on when it boggs out again. Does anybody know what that is and how to fix it?

Did he show you which hose? That could definitely help us diagnose the issue. Nice find for sure though - a 2+2 SE is rare!

I didnt trace where the hose was coming from but he said that a shop told him that it had to do with the mass air flow sensor, ive been having a lot of trouble finding a mechanic for a rotory motor

Alright, Nelly - which one did he say to unplug and replug?

Seriously, if you can take a cellphone pic and post it up, I'd be curious what's going on with that,
