rx7 fuel pressure question?

I am trying to get my new 84 rx7 running and I am trying to avoid buying a new fuel pump for it. I was wondering if anyone knew what the fuel pressure should be with the nikki carb on it, and also if I need to run a fuel pressure regulator on it with an aftermarket fuel pump.
Thanks!

I think, I may be a bit off though, that the nikki only needs 2-3psi for the fuel, I know it's a pretty low number compare to what most aftermarket pumps can do.

You will definately need an FPR.

2-3 psi for Nikki, 5 psi for Hitachi.
