running problems!

Alright so i go to pull all the emmsion/bac/extra carb junk off of my 12a this weekend. I pulled everything off that i found in a search that i could. now when i put it back on and start the car up its revvin to like 4,000 rpm. I know i have a leak but i can find it. my throttle peddle also feels kinda funny now from takin off like the dashpot i believe it is. Can anyone help out with this and where is the best place to get another one of those rubber inserts that go into the block/manifold that the coolant runs threw cause one of mine is fubar. and where is the best and quickest place to order a manifold gasket? thanks guys

Carbs don't have bac's. The o-rings can be found at the parts store. You can also pick up a sheet of gasket paper, the charcoal colored one, and make you own intake gasket.

For the funny feel in the gas pedal, make sure that your "teeter-totter" thingy has not flipped over. If you don't know what I'm reffering to, a search should turn up lots of info.

Your local autoparts store, the o-rings are usually behind the counter, just ask for the paper. There is a light brown one that is more wood fiber than anything else, you don't want that one.
