i just deamed my rpm gauge to be faulty. i have a 22.00 rpm gauge hooked as per the instructions but its still dont work. can anyone tell me y. is it the little thing on the distributor the sends the signal bad or am i just missing something?? the new gauge is set for 4cyl. plz help!!!!

 

hook signal wire to negative side of trailing coil the one closest to hood! will work then reconnect the diode on the dizzy that isnt for a tach!
