Rough idle and no markers/brake lights
Just got a 84 RX-7 GSL, we got it running and I've given it a good scrub but there are still a few problems.
It's got a fairly rough idle; it'll idle around 500-700 and every now and then it'll just drop to the point where it looks like it's going to stall, then recovers. The car had been sitting for eight months prior to last saturday so maybe it just needs to run for a while, but I dunno, I'm new to rotaries and new to cars in general.
I've also got no marker lights or brake lights. I've checked fuses but they all look fine, same with all the connections at the lights themselves.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You might wanna check your exhaust isnt leaking under the hood and choking the engine going back in the air intake - this is what I experienced recently running the car in my garage - it'd be fine at first then start spluttering and the revs were really jumping all over the place.
I reckon turn the idle up to about 1000 as well.. did you check the globes for the lights? then check all the plugs on the wires... the sensor on the pedal and finally maybe your wires have been cut somewhere - rewire...
Good luck,
Paul.
