I had a blast!
The drive was great going back up state because there was nobody on I84 going east. I was frequently hitting a buck-ten again on the way home. At one point a Honda CRX zipped up on my *** and tried to play, but he was being so wreckless, cocky and stupid that I refused. It just felt too much like it could end up badly.
I wound up with somebody's folding chairs.
Anyone?

The drive for me was great till I got to the mass border, then stop and go (heal-toe get to be real annoying in that traffic) but I had lots of chances to push my new setup. I even got to play with a 350z, he kept up for a while but then just changed lanes and slowed down. It was so much fun I can't wait to get the leaks fixed and new exhaust on so I can really see what it can do.

Chairs are bizarros.
Yeah- a Friday night start would be much, much better. There is a lot to do around there (minus swapping carbs all day). I would certainly be up for that.
However- I will make room for a chainsaw next time, dammit!

Tom, if you load up any more gear you're gonna need a trailer. And that tent! Dang man, Big Bertha is big enough to be a garage for the RX.

Thought I'd mention this-
I got Boxer back on the drive home yesterday..All that venison finally kicked in, heh-heh. 90mph with the windows down only made it marginally better..

I was just reading the NE Forum section- sounds like the fairground folks were'nt too happy with some of the shenanigans happening at the end of the show.
Oh well- If the 'fest is cancelled it would still be great to get a camping trip or outing planned every once in a while.
