i dont think our rotaries would lend themselve to nitromethane all too well, they may become even more prone to grenading

Methanol Rotarys are everywhere. All I know of Nitromethane Rotary are small modelairplane engines. Nitromethane is not working well with turbo boost; I am thinking more damage than blowing apex seals. But 3 or 4 rotor NA, maybe so, eventually who knows.

The question is more appropriate in the Drag race section of the forum. This section is an unlikely place to expect answers.
