Exclamation Rotary Motor/ Body For Sale!!!!???

My uncle has a purple 82 RX-7 ( I think its an 82?) and he painted it and made it all nice, and then came across another RX-7 (red) and the motor had just been rebuilt, the guy sold it to him cheap because it shook when you would go about 35-45mph, he took the motor out of the red one (rebuilt only 8000 miles ago), and now he has a car with no motor, and a motor, he wants to know how much he can get for the rotary engine and the car?

The car is in good shape (nothing wrong with anything). The motor is also in great shape, he takes good care of his cars, the motor has over 100,000 miles (not sure have to ask him more about it) and it runs strong, no smoke or leaks, and just passed smog test.

If anyone is interested, this is in Western Washington/Pierce county (parkland area). Email me @ dwest_24@hotmail.com if you want more info or know how much he can get for the motor and car.

a Bad engine is worth 0 - 100$

The car with no motor depends on the shape and if it has a title $100 is generaly fair.

Are you serious? Its not a bad engine its actualy in great condition. So is the Body, it has no rust and the original red paint is in good condition as well...

P.S. The vibration in the car he has now was just a loose tranny mount.

I'd agree. You would probably get more for a complete car than for a shell and a motor separately. You could probably part out the shell and motor and do better, but that's a long term proposition.
