Question Rotary 13b question?

Hi. I'm new here and all and i own a 84 Rx-7 GSL-SE and an 85 Rx-7 base model.

My GSL-SE has a 13b in it and it says ti supposed to be turbo charged but yet it doesnt have one on it....was the 84 13b's tubocharged?

My 85 hasd the normal 1.1 liter 12a in it and it doesnt have a carb...so it dont run...

thanks.

No the 13B in the first gen was not turbo charged. The only turbo that came stock in the first gen was the 12Aturbo that only came out in japan.

Stock GSL-SEs are not turbocharged.. just fuel-injected.

There are guys who have custom-turbo'd their GSL-SEs, and it is a *lot* of work and fabrication, but the results are very impressive.

not a ton of work needed. the 87-91 cars you could get a turbo model seperate from the other models. all 93-95 U.S. spec cars were sequentil twin turbo. also 13B
