The right WAY !

Ok well this is my first time owning a rotary. Now my knowledge is mosty with non rotary , pistons , rods. So now im putting a 13bt in my 82 rx7. Now what are like the *internals* on these rotaries? like what to change if i boost it up and have a lot of power to make the motor safe. Like if you put a huge turbo in a supra best bet is your gonna have pistons rods bearing to hold it. Now im gonna have a lot of power coming out of this. Do i need to change like the seals ? ive heard a lot about those apex race seals , what else ? I also see a lot of threads of ppl blowing those apex seals , anyways , how much hp would the motor hold like stock?

Youve got a lot of reaserch to do,Ill just say that right now.

Rotaries are plenty stout, especially the factory turbo engines. Most of the time,if you blow one up,its due to poor tuning, age or abuse(pushing the limits)

Stock seals, housings and rotors can hold up to crank HP in the 300's with no problems. Many have gotten into the 400's with them as well, but most opt for the larger 3MM apex seals for extra insurance against detonation breakage.
There are many, many ongoing debates about which is better.....2MM for minimal housing wear/better sealing.....or 3MM for rugged operation in a hostile environment.
